Netra Tarpana

Netra Tarpana is a specialized Ayurvedic Panchakarma procedure designed to nourish, rejuvenate, strengthen, and protect the eyes. The word "Netra" means eyes, and "Tarpana" means nourishment, satisfaction, or rejuvenation. In this therapy, medicated ghee is retained over the eyes for a specific period to provide deep nourishment to the ocular tissues. According to Ayurveda, the eyes are predominantly governed by Alochaka Pitta, a subtype of Pitta Dosha responsible for vision. Continuous exposure to screens, pollution, stress, aging, and improper lifestyle can weaken the eyes and disturb the balance of doshas. Netra Tarpana helps restore this balance and promotes healthy vision.
